Description
Looking for adventure? Get qualified to teach English abroad.
Even if you’re only interested in teaching English for a year or two, a TEFL certificate opens up many opportunities. Experience another culture first-hand while living in a foreign country. Learn about different ways of thinking and the customs of others while building new friendships. Teaching abroad is also a great way to immerse yourself in a new language, which can have significant advantages in other fields should you decide you’ve had enough of teaching.
No matter what your plans for your EFL path, a TEFL certificate from Wits Language School will help you get started. Support doesn’t end with the course either: our trainers love hearing from graduates and their TEFL experiences—including questions you have related to teaching.
Programme Overview
The course runs on an LMS, with access to an experienced TEFL trainer. Measure your own understanding of each module with self-evaluations. There are videos, quizzes and discussions to evaluate your progress and application of the theory. Please note that this option does not include teaching practice, but several videos of example lessons are available throughout the course.
