Description

Hours:
Monday Wednesday Friday 1:00 - 4:00 PM (report to the school 20 minutes before the first class, leave at 4:00)

Classes:
3 classes, 3 hours/week each
1 is kindergarten and more play-orientated, the other 2 are early elementary kids (mostly 1st and second grade) and more academic

Curriculum:
Provided for 2 classes. Kindergarten is a new class, so you would be free to offer input into making whatever kind of curriculum you want.

Pay/benefits:
*900,000 won per month.
*Approximately 6 weeks of paid vacation per year (all national holidays off, some - but not all - included in those 6 weeks).
*Does not offer housing or housing allowance.

Requirements:
Native English speaker *or technically not native, but near-native level. (If you're from a non-native English speaking country, this will be assessed by interview, not by test scores.)
*MUST have an F visa (F2, F4, F5, or F6) .
*Bachelor's degree, clean criminal record and health check (as required by the Office of Education).
*Must have some experience teaching kindergarten and/or first grade students.
*Must be available for an interview next week (the week of November 19th).

Preferences:
*Someone who is passionate about teaching and not just looking to collect a paycheck.
*Someone not looking for a short-term gig but wants to stick around long-term. If we're mutually happy, there is a strong possibility of an option to expand classes next spring, either more part-time hours or full-time.
