Online ESL Teacher for Barons English

Hiring home-based, freelance online UK English teachers.

Barons English is looking for freelance online English teachers who live in the UK and can teach business men/women, college students who are taking English tests, children and general people who live in South Korea, Japan and China.  

Barons English has 4 different courses of lessons based on the students' needs.

English Test (IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC) Preparation Course

We are helping students by offering practice tests to familiarise them with the format. Our lessons are designed to improve their listening and speaking skills and to perform better in the tests.

Business English Course

Our Business English courses help our students to communicate better in the workplace, giving them the language skills and confidence to speak to international colleagues and business partners.

We also teach them about British business etiquette.

Children English Course

Children are taught basic vocabulary and sentence structure at beginner level. Teachers need to speak slowly and clearly whilst reading books and practising new language skills with them.

Academic English & General English Course

We help students who want to learn general English, by teaching relevant topics and language focus.

Qualities we're looking for:

• Passion for teaching English

• Friendly personality

• Patient and professional

• Can work with minimal supervision

• Accepts constructive criticism and is willing to learn and improve his/her teaching strategy

• Can handle students of different levels/age brackets

• Willing to work in a different time zone (especially for South Korea, Japan, Taiwan and China)

• Flexibility to manage his/her own time 

Requirements:

•  Must be a resident of the UK 

• At least 21 years old

• Speaks Native British English as a first language

• Has completed at least 3 years of university education

• A certified English as a second language teacher

• Online teaching experience is an advantage

• Must have a high-speed internet connection and a computer with a web camera and a headset

• Can work in a quiet environment
