Hellokid, is developed by Hangzhou Captain Educational Technology Co.,Ltd, China in 2014. HelloKid is an online English learning platform that provides students ages 4-16 with instant access to fluent English speakers through one on one video chat. HelloKid is determined to foster a teaching and learning environment that enables every child around World to receive high-quality English education by integrating global experienced teachers and cutting-age AI technology since its inception. Our mission is to develop English as a native language by integrating subject content learning with English language acquisition.

HelloKid offers one-on-one online English lessons according to a model curriculum, using core standards. In order to realize personalized ESL learning for every student and build more effective and meaningful interactions, we implement fixed student-teacher pairing. We believe that the best way to enhance one’s language ability is to constantly practice listening and speaking.

 HelloKid teaches courses to K-12 as with most Chinese companies. HelloKid are mainly looking for native ESL teachers but will consider non-native as well. You should have a TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certificate. K-12 teaching experience is preferred.

Job Description:

• One-on-one online English teaching to kids aged 3-16

• Lesson content: provided by the school

• A teacher can apply for a pay raise 6 months after passing the probational period.

• two type of classes: demo class and regular class, the demo class is 20 minutes and regular class is 25 minutes, Normally we account 2 class as one teaching hour.

 Job Requirements:

• Native or Near-Native English Speakers

• Teachers with a minimum of 1 year Online English Teaching experiences with young learners

• Passionate about teaching English to young learners

• Applicants must be at least 22 years of age.

• Teaching certificate (TEFL&TESOL)

• Internet Speed at least 3Mbps upload and 10Mbps download

• Teachers should be available to teach from 6:00PM-9:00PM BJT

• At least 4 days or 12hrs maximum or minimum number of hours a teacher could teach  

Equipment need:

• Internet Speed at least 3Mbps upload and 30Mbps download

• Intel Core i5 above

• Computer processor mark 4000above

• A headset with microphone

• High & Stable Internet connection

 Payment:

• 8-22 USD total hourly rate depending on teachers' experiences and demo performance

• HelloKid will pay up to 20$ per transaction as the transaction fee if the transaction fee is over 20$

• We pay our teachers via PayPal on the 15th in the following month
