Requirements:

• US or Canadian Citizenship

• At least 20mb upload and download speed (speedtest.net to check)

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Teaching experience in classroom and online preferred

• Mac computer with Mojave or Windows 8 or 10 with at least an Intel i3 or AMD A8 CPU and 8G RAM

• A webcam with at least 720P resolution

• A headset (headphones + mic)

The success of CLASSTALK teachers depend first and foremost on the teacher’s professionalism and passion for teaching. However, with China being on the opposite side of the world, there are other factors at play. Depending on your time zone and how much of a “night owl” you are, your class load can be anywhere from 1 to 8 classes a day. We understand that many of our teachers have part time or even full time jobs, so we try to be flexible to fit your busy schedule. CLASSTALK teachers have the option to teach as many or as few classes as they want, we only ask that you make a semester long commitment to your class and students.

Technology is also an obvious and crucial component of online teaching. CLASSTALK uses the latest technology to simultaneously bring PowerPoint lessons and the CLASSTALK teacher into the classroom. Each classroom is equipped with two large TVs, one for the Power Point and one for the teacher. Our connection network is easy to use and comes across in real time with sharp looking picture and clear audio to ensure the teacher’s and student’s success. All of our teachers will be sent detailed guidebooks on how to properly install our software on Macs or PCs.
