We cater to language learners aged 3 to 18 who have different attainment levels and different learning needs. We aim to provide high-quality education for children from all socio-economic backgrounds to minimize the gap between the privileged and the underprivileged.

Job Description

The Pay: $18-$27 per 50-minute class taught, plus performance-based bonuses. Pay rate varies from level to level and from class to class.
The Classes: 50-minute full immersion English language group class.
The Curriculum: REACH HIGHER adapted from National Geographic Learning, and OXFORD READING TREE from Oxford University Press
The Timing: Available to teach a minimum of 8 hours during the peak hours
Working Hours (peak hours): Weekdays: 6:55 PM - 9:00 PM Beijing Time; Weekends: 9:10 AM - 12:20 PM 6:55 PM - 9:00 PM Beijing Time

• Classes - 50-minute 1 on 2 full immersion English language class

• Curriculum - REACH HIGHER adapted from National Geographic Learning and OXFORD READING TREE from Oxford University Press

• Bookings - Parents select teachers. Whales English does not assign classes

• Pay - $18-$26 per 50-minute class taught, plus performance-based bonuses. Pay rate varies from level to level and from class to class

1 V 10 Program

• Classes - 50-minute English language group class with 6-10 students

• Curriculum - New series from Oxford University Press that is in line with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)

• Bookings - Parents do not book teachers. Whales English assigns classes to the teacher

• Pay - $20-$23 per 50-minute class taught, plus performance-based bonuses. Every contracted hour is paid at $13 and for every class taught we pay $7-$10 extra

• Timing - Available to teach a minimum of 10 hours during the peak hours

• Working Hours (peak hours) - Monday to Sunday: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM Beijing
